Winners for Boghossian Vision Charity Golf Tournament
The 2nd Annual Boghossian Vision Charity Golf Tournament that took place August 7th, 2011, was a great success. Players arrived early in the morning eager to check in and start playing the course. The tournament supporting Prevent Blindness Northern California not only had great weather but also had great players. The putting contest winner, Barry Smith, won with a hole in one at 60 feet away. The closest to the pin winner, Betsy Frederick, won with a 180 yard shot that landed only 3 feet and 2 inches away from the flap. For the second year in a row, the longest drive winner was Patrick Matian with a shot close to 270 yards against the wind. The first place team finished the course with 8 under par and an amazing total score of 64! This year’s event was very exciting and we can’t wait until the 3rd Annual Boghossian Vision Charity Golf Tournament next year.
