Allen Boghossian, DO is a board certified and fellowship trained ophthalmologist. He grew up in northern California where he attended Santa Clara University for his undergraduate education. After graduating with honors, he attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated first in his class. Following his ophthalmology residency in University of Missouri Kansas City, Dr. Boghossian completed an extra sub-specialty training in refractive surgery at the world-renowned Durrie Vision.

Dr. Boghossian is the current chairman of Eden Medical Center outpatient department and serves on the board of directors for Osteopathic Physician and Surgeons of California and was board of director and chairman of Prevent Blindness Northern California, a non-profit organization that screened children for early detection of amblyopia.

Dr. Boghossian is a regular speaker at national ophthalmology meetings and an invited instructor in laser vision correction at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting.

Dr. Boghossian was the official team eye doctor of the San Jose Sharks NHL Hockey team from 2011-2014.
