About Dr. Boghossian
Allen Boghossian, DO is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist. A native of Northern California, he earned his undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University, graduating with honors. He went on to attend the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he graduated first in his class. Dr. Boghossian completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri–Kansas City, followed by advanced fellowship training in refractive surgery at the world-renowned Durrie Vision.

Dr. Boghossian has served as Chairman of the Outpatient Department at Eden Medical Center. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California and has previously served as both Chairman and Board Member of Prevent Blindness Northern California, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the early detection of amblyopia in children.

Dr. Boghossian is a frequent speaker at national ophthalmology conferences and an invited instructor in laser vision correction at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting. From 2011 to 2014, Dr. Boghossian was the official team eye doctor for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL)
