Maggie Burton, O.D. was born and raised in Santa Monica, CA. She graduated from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2013. Subsequently, she attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where in 2017 she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate in Optometry. Before joining Boghossian Vision, Dr. Burton completed a residency focusing on primary care and ocular disease at the VA Illiana healthcare system, after which she was hired to continue to care for our veterans.

 

Dr. Burton provides full scope optometry care including management of ocular disease, contact lens fitting, dry eye disease, and pediatric care. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, as well as the Alameda/Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society.

 

Dr. Burton and her husband enjoy biking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants and cuisines.
